Worship/Youth Pastor

Full-Time Position

Highland Church in Plover, Wisconsin, is seeking a passionate, spiritually mature and relational Worship/Youth Pastor to join our leadership team. This full-time dual role is designed for a leader who is equally called to lead Christ-centered worship and disciple students in grades 7–12 through relational, Gospel-centered ministry. We are looking for someone with a vibrant, growing relationship with Jesus—anchored in daily devotion, prayer and spiritual integrity. The ideal candidate brings musical and technical proficiency for leading worship, a heart for the next generation and the ability to equip and empower teams. Key Responsibilities

Worship Ministry

  • Plan, lead and oversee weekly worship services that are Spirit-led, musically excellent and biblically grounded.

  • Shepherd worship team members of all ages spiritually and musically, developing a culture of worship as ministry.

  • Recruit, train and equip musicians, vocalists, and tech volunteers for both adult and youth services.

  • Collaborate with the Lead Pastor and staff team on service planning, seasonal events and outreach initiatives.

    Youth Ministry

  • Build strong relationships with students, parents and volunteer leaders.

  • Lead weekly youth services, small groups, camps and events that foster spiritual growth, fun connection, and authentic community.

  • Teach the Bible in a way that connects with students and inspires practical life application

  • Encourage student leadership and involvement in worship and creative expressions and in a variety of volunteer capacities, helping students discover and activate their God-given purpose.

Spiritual Leadership

  • Model a consistent devotional life and vibrant walk with Jesus.

  • Be a spiritual mentor to youth and worship teams, cultivating a culture of discipleship and authenticity.

  • Serve with humility and a heart to see others grow in their gifts and callings.

Media & Communication

  • Utilize digital tools such as ProPresenter and Planning Center, social media and technology to enhance both worship and youth ministry.

  • Help grow and manage content creation, promotion and online engagement to support the mission of Highland Church.• Work closely with the pastoral team to support a unified, prayer-driven and Spirit-filled church culture.

  • Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions and church-wide initiatives.

  • A worship leader with musical and technical skill who values spiritual depth and community engagement over performance.

  • A relational youth pastor who thrives in discipling students and building lasting mentorships.

  • A strong communicator—whether teaching Scripture or leading a song; connecting with clarity and authenticity.

  • A team builder—gifted at equipping others, creating safe spaces and fostering unity.

  • A Spirit-led leader who is both self-motivated and thrives in collaboration.

Qualifications

  • A growing, committed relationship with Jesus Christ marked by daily spiritual disciplines.

  • Agreement with the beliefs, mission and values of the Assemblies of God and Highland Church.

  • Demonstrated experience in both worship and youth ministry (paid or volunteer).

  • Proficiency in worship leading (vocals and/or instrument), with a heart for mentoring others.

  • Experience working with teens and a strong understanding of student culture and discipleship.

  • Current Assemblies of God credentials (or willingness to pursue them with eagerness).

  • Skills in media, technology and digital communication.
