Tim Michalski joined Highland’s staff as volunteer treasurer in April 2007 and came on full time in February 2009. He also oversees RedPoint College & Career Ministry with Pastor Nathan, coordinates Movies in the Park and teaches Financial Peace University.
Tim graduated from North Central University with a degree in business administration in May 2005 and moved to Stevens Point shortly after. At NCU, Tim managed the finances for a 100+ student outreach to Mardi Gras 2004. He also created an interactive church administration guide CD program. His passion is to see churches succeed in touching lives by using his time and talents to support the ministries of the church and offer business and accounting guidance and support to pastoral staff.
Outside of church, Tim enjoys boating on the Chain O’ Lakes, waterskiing, tennis, ice fishing and golfing.
Jim Cass
Grounds and Maintenance
Jim Cass oversees the maintenance and grounds at Highland Church. Jim has been attending Highland for over 33 years, but has been on staff “keeping things working” since 2000. He also serves as an usher and behind the scenes in coordinating services and special events.
Jim has spent his entire life in Stevens Point. He is married to wife Loni and has 3 grown children: Ryan, Andy, and KT. He currently resides on a farm just outside Stevens Point in a “West Side Swamp”.
Jim notes church is an important aspect in just about everything he does. But he also enjoys time relaxing on the river, home projects, time spent with people, just sitting down for half an hour, and of course, going to restaurants.
